Privacy policy

AQELVRYN respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Order details: the email address and name you enter at checkout, the product, amount, currency and time of purchase, provided to us by Stripe.
• Licence and download records: your licence key, download counts and link expiry dates.
• App check-ins: when you activate an app, it sends your licence key and the app name to check the licence (and re-checks about once a month). Once a day, apps ask whether a newer version exists, sending only the app name and version number.
• Technical data: standard request information (such as IP address) processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and rate-limiting.
• Email you give us: if you tick the box when you download a trial, we store that address so we can send you a few emails during the trial. If you tick the marketing box at checkout, we may email you about related AQELVRYN products. Nothing else.

What we don't collect

We never receive your full card number. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't try to identify who you are from your IP address. Visits are counted as totals only — no cookie, no visitor ID, nothing tied to a person. We never buy email addresses, and we never sell, rent or share yours. The site stores only your display-currency preference in your browser. Our Windows apps keep your data (invoices, clients, rosters, trips, receipts and files) on your computer and never send it to us.

How we use it

To deliver your software, send your licence key and order emails, provide order recovery, handle refunds and support requests, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Marketing email

We only send marketing email to people who ticked a box asking for it — either on a trial download or at checkout. Buying from us does not put you on the list. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe that needs no sign-in, and we act on it immediately. Order emails — your licence key, download links and refund notices — are not marketing and keep working after you unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the store: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and our email delivery provider. They process data on our behalf and may store it outside Australia.

Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you through our support page. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
